Celtic Camping Group Accommodation for School Groups

Education at Celtic Camping

Encouraging young people to experience the outdoors through adventure, exploration and discovery is our passion. We are experienced in delivering school residential programmes, supporting Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, sports groups and fieldwork groups from Geology to Photography. With our campsite being located in our natural environment we have the world’s biggest classroom on our doorstep and we know that we are privileged to have such a rich environment to share.

Whether it is the land and farming, the sea with the diverse marine life or learning through adventure activities we encourage you to discover what our campsite in Pembrokeshire, West Wales has to offer. We are happy to assist in making a trip come to life.

We also welcome the chance to share our vision on sustainability, creating magnificent meadows, developing our energy options for the farm and waste reduction. Suggestions and ideas are always welcome to shape our future.

Residential Programmes

At Celtic Camping & Bunkhouse accommodation we pride ourselves with our residential programmes here on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. Whether you are a School, Rugby Club, Guide, Scouts or College group there is no better base than our fantastic dormitories or bunkhouses here on our working farm. We have many years of experience in delivering high quality packages for Schools & Colleges, in association with leading local activity providers.

Each program is tailor made to your group. Using our fabulous local activity providers, your program can be jam packed with awesome adventures, or a slightly more leisurely pace to the trip. It is up to you, and we can help make it happen.

We can create opportunities for students to extend the National Curriculum by taking part in a number of environmental and conservation activities. These include hedge bank building, discussing marine plastics, prepping the ground for an orchard, and building bug hotels. We regularly deliver guided tours of the working farm with an explanation of land use and sustainable issues – From Field to Plate.

“We were blown away by the attention to detail and caring approach by all of the staff – our students felt very well looked after indeed. There was a suggestion that perhaps we might look for an alternative location for our camp.  The backlash from the staff involved in first year camp was ferocious to say the least – such is the value they place on coming down to St Davids, and to Pwll Caerog in particular” - Atlantic College
